FS: MusicMan 25th Anniversary Reflex 4HSS, BFR All Rosewood Neck, #5/25 Made

For sale: I am offering a VERY LIMITED bass. Number 5 of only 25 made. The top-of-the-line MusicMan 25th Anniversary Bass BFR, now sold as the Reflex Bass. This specimen is gorgeous. The BFR all rosewood neck is a dream to play. Quilt maple top.

PHOTO NOTE: The quilt top looks darker on the right side of the photos than the left side of the bass. That is a sunlight trick. The quilt top is even across the body of the bass.

This is a really pro bass for someone that wants a great recording sound, with both active and passive pick-up options. There are 16 possible pick-up combinations using the selector switches -- 8 passive, 8 active.

I am the original owner, played it at church about three times. Original list was like $3300, I paid $2800. Selling for $2400 @2200 $2000 shipped in original 25th anniversary case. Shipping to western Europe and UK, add $140.

I have some other basses for sale to get back to my three bass limit. If some move, this one will stay in the herd. Given the state of cash in the US economy, we all may be better off storing our money in limited run basses rather than the declining dollar. Will our wives believe this logic?

Here is a good demo of the bass with the HH pickup config:

Bump for a truly gorgeous bass! I have the same bass in a 4HH pickup configuration, and it is truly a dream bass (and love the reflex body style). Someone snap this one up before Bill changes his mind about selling.

Beautiful bass I have never seen before. I can't spare that much money right now, but I hope this finds a nice home. That bass deserves to be played and displayed!
