I have for sale a MusicMan Bongo 4 HH. I believe it is 'Lava Pearl' color. It is a reddish orange pearl color. This bass is in good playing condition. There are a few cosmetic issues with it:
- Several minor chips / dings on the headstock.
- Paint chip at bottom of lower horn.
- Paint chip at bottom near strap button.
- Ding at top edge near arm rest.
- Volume knob replaced wit haftermarket knob.
Other than the above mentioned items, this bass is great. There is a little bit of fret wear under the 'E' & 'A' strings on the first seven wires. Nothing to be concerned with, but it is now disclosed. No breaks or chips in the wood. Truss rod works fine. All electronics are fine. All cosmetic issues and nothing more.
I wanted to try a Bongo, so I bought this one as it is. I added new GHS Infinity strings. I like this bass so much I went out and bought a brand new one to pair with it. Reality has settled in and I realize I can't keep both. As such I'm reluctantly selling this one to keep my budget straight.
The deal includes the original hardshell case.
