FS: MusicMan Bongo 4H Dargie II, Mint

Sign in to disble this ad
Guys -- I picked this gorgeous Bongo here on TB a while back. Anyhow, I need to flip this one as I have a boutique bass incoming. Its never been out of my house.

You know the Dargie story, these are very limited runs of green basses, as demanded my the MusicMan faithful. The Dargie II run has the coolest paint job that changes color with the incident light. Looks very classy in-person. This run also has the ebony fretboard. This is a somewhat rare 4H model with three band active EQ. True bongoloids like the point-and-shoot nature of the single H placed higher up on the body in the basses sweet spot. This bass is immaculate and plays very well. No dead spots anywhere on the neck. $1500 shipped in the US in the fitted MM case; western Europe and UK add $140.

I'm going to close this thread for a while.....the flats just sound too awesome on it.
PM me if you are burning with severe GAS for this thing.

And went and ripped the scab off on Husky123
Well this bass is Beautiful as the pics show.
Someone will grab a Beauty for a good deal less than the online stores would charge for a mint Dargie.

I think the Dargie 2's are nicer, myself. The paint job is cooler. The ebony fretboard really sets it off. And I didn't really like the martini glass fret markers on the first ones.
