Guys -- I'm a long time Bongo enthusiast and have owned several. I picked up this excellent condition Desert Gold Bongo 4HH a while back. Since then I've acquired a couple of other higher end custom basses and need to thin the herd back to my allowance of three.
This Bongo is in great shape. No dings, dents, chips, nicks - except for the standard, but very small chip in the paint at the tip of the headstock. Also, after a detailed inspection, there is some belt buckle rash. Nothing significant, but it is there.
I've had them in several colors and Desert Gold is the best. Looks really terrific on the Bongo modern design. No dead spots. Ready to PLAY. $1000 shipped in fitted MM hard shell case. Priced reduced to $900.

One tiny headstock chip right at the tip, not very noticeable.
Also, after a detailed inspection, there is some belt buckle rash. Nothing significant, but it is there. I'll update the listing.
