I'm not sure of the year..as I understand they started making these in 2008......I'm really looking to sell..but let me know what you got....I'm sorry I do not have a scale it isn't very heavy though.

That's true, the 5 string Sterlings are a very recent model.

I'm just no good on fretless, so I'm trying to find a taker for mine - a 1996 50th Anniversary Fender USA Jazz Deluxe V fretless. Black body, creamy aged white pearl pickguard, RW fingerboard. I'd of course add cash to make it a fair deal.

EDIT - Just to clarify, this is a 1996 model that commemorates the 50th anniversary of *Fender*, not the recent model that commemorates the 50th anniversary of the *Jazz*.
