Up for sale is a black/maple Musicman Stingray with some awesome birdseye figuring on the neck. I bought this bass from a fellow TB’er about a year ago. I’m simply scaling back, trying to make some $$ to buy some other gear I’m GASing over. According to the guy I bought it from, this bass is a 1998 model (I don’t know how to check). This bass sounds killer, with that classic aggressive SR tone. Installed is a nearly new abalone pickguard that I bought for it. I’m including the old black one as well. For its age, I’d say this bass is in pretty decent shape. It has been played and has several dings/scratches all over it. It does have some fret wear but I think the frets still have some life left in them. There are also a couple of cracks in the paint on the back of the body. There are also some screws for the pickguard missing. In short, there are some cosmetic issues but nothing that would affect the sound/functionality of this bass.

Practically new abalone pickguard (minor amount of pick rash)
Black pickguard included (quite a bit of pick rash)
Strap pins will accept Schaller straplocks (I do not have the parts that fit on the strap)
Original hardshell case, which is in pretty good condition (if you don’t mind the stickers someone put on it). All latches and hinges look good.
Take in mind that, due to my work schedule, it’s possible that I will only be able to ship this on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays.
