I bought this on a whim awhile back as it has always been my fav MM color and I could never find one. Plays great, sounds great but I am a die hard wide 5 spacing jazz bass kinda guy. The bass had a bit of case odor when I got it and while cleaning it, loved the way it looked without the pickguard.....put a clear one one on and get compliments on it all the time. Had I disposal funds I would keep it for situations where I wanted the MM sound, or a photo shoot (HA!)......again my fav MM color scheme ever! The bass sounds like a good MM and plays great. No scale but feels about standard for all the MM5's I've played.
A good ding on the back (through the paint, see pics) and some small stuff here and there.......really in good shape for a 15+ year old bass.
Hot item on the EB forums as it is a rare color that has not been produced since the early 90's. $1150 shipped conus. Paypal OK. As far as trades go I am pretty picky and started building my own basses.....feel free to run them by me (but please don't be offended....it is not a personal insult by any means if I am not interested
