**PRICE REDUCED**: (FS ONLY) Musicman Stingray 5

Sign in to disble this ad
Tried hard to get used to fivers but alas it wasn't meant to be -- too stubborn and set in my old ways to change.

Sold my other SR5, so I'm listing this one too. This one is honeyburst with matching headstock, HH pickup config, tort pickguard, maple fretboard, new EB strings, minty Musicman hard case. Tried to take pics of flaws but just couldn't find any. Sorry, not interested in trades.

$1200 $1150 plus shipping (I'll eat the packaging cost too). Apologies to overseas TBers but I'm limiting this sale to CONUS destination only.

SOLD!

what year is this Bass, did you buy it new? Does it have alnico or ceramic magnets in the pickups?

Weight: sorry I don't have a digital bathroom scale but my manual scale shows around 9.8 lbs?

Year: 8/22/2007

Pickup Type
: Not sure but ceramic I think -- someone correct me if if I'm wrong but I believe SR5's came with alnico pu's from '87-'91, ceramic from '91-'08, then back to alnico from '08-present.

I want to buy a stingray allot like this one in the very near future as soon as my money comes in (which should be any day now) if this does not sell soon, send me a message in a few weeks, and I might have my money then if not sooner.

Have a good day.

Thanks, Anarkink.

Oh SNAP! That would make such a nice sister to my fretless SR5... same color, but mine has the mother-of-toilet-seat pickguard.

Curse you, vile poverty!!!

A couple of things...

1) Beauty bass (and additional gear)

2) You live in Sac... Why aren't we hanging out? :-D

Bump for a nice SR5!

Oh man, I already have a honeyburst/tort SR5HH, but the maple fingerboard and the matching headstock on yours make it WAY nicer looking than mine (rosewood, plain headstock). I've really been hoping to find a Sterling 5 HH but I'm thinking about this based purely on looks.

Damn, wish I already had the money for it it! Gotta figure out how I can raise some cash fast.
