FS Musicman Stingray HS / Maple *Great Bass*

SOLDMy story is simple on this one. I just bought a Sadowsky Will Lee and many of my basses are not getting played anymore. Yes the Sadowsky is that good IMO.

Up to this point I have primarily only played Stingrays and love them. I will keep my '79 Stingray, one of the two had to go so here she is. This pains me greatly.

This bass is in perfect condition, no ding, no scratches. Ships in a soft case and packed and boxed very well. It will be insured for the sale price. The setup in perfect and low, intonation is right-on the money and the strings are new. I am very anal about my gear and it shows in condition.

2008 Musicman Stingray

$1,100 $1,000 Shipped in the ConUS. Paypal or USPS money order accepted. I am open to reasonable offers, this price is not firm. International deals will be considered if the buyer pre-pays shipping and all taxes and fees.

I will consider trades if necessary but would prefer a cash deal.

Thanks for looking,
Mike

Reposted better pics, Looking for offers.

Pictures really don't do this color justice. The pearl has great sparkle.

I am always impressed by the quality of the bass you are proposing.

I bought one SR to Mike few months ago which was in an incredible state and sound great !

Fabrice,

The HS is more versatile. If I were to have 1 bass this would be it. The 5 position switch gives you many tones, from classic stingray, to a very good jazz sound, to a P type tone and a thick rich tone on the center position.

The sounds are all still distinctly Musicman though. The reason I will always own Musicmans is that it is a sound that no other bass company has been able to duplicate perfectly and for the fact that they are incredibly well built with a high level of detail. From the threaded PUP and bridge screws to the pots and the finish they ooze quality.

BTW Fabrice was my first international deal and it was very smooth. His process has convinced me that international deals can work well if the communication is constant. He is a great guy to deal with.

Mike

Free bump for my favorite bass. I've got the exact bass but in opposite colors, black bass, white pg. The neck pickup and ability to split the humbucker make this bass ridiculously versatile. There are all kinds of thick, gooey, rockin and funky sounds in that thing.

Bump, awesome bass. Judging by the lack of snow in the pics you've had it for sale for a while now. I just wish it was Feb, that's when the boss (wife) has given me permission to purchase another bass.

I took the pics about 2 weeks ago on our last nice day before snow. I was tinking ahead. It just took me this long to get up the nerve to actually post it. I love this bass.
