very very good condition MM Sub 5 with a custom paint job by the great Marty Bell. Looks great under stage lights and gets comments every time.

really this bass plays and sounds great. There are no issues with this bass. why selling? I am making my own basses these days and prefer wider spacing (crap, now Sterling is gonna hunt me down and tell me what a dummy I am) . I bought this bass because I love the Musicman tone, it has the 2 band eq, it is very close in specs to the classic series (@ more the half the price), I wanted to check out Marty's work for some of my basses, and because it is freaking Sparkle Red!

Now that is a knockout! If someone bought this, they would pretty much be getting everything cool about the new classic series Music Man basses except for the mutes at 1/3 of the price.

thanks gang. Marty Bell does sparkle paint jobs for a lot of major manufactures. In low light, the bass can appear almost a darker red. When spotlights hit it, the bass seems to glow (Recently played a show where the light tech could not stop flashing different color spotlights off it……kinda surreal, the bass looked like glowing purple lava with a bluish spotlight).

This thing is awesome!!! I have a SUB and I absolutely love it, I let my Stingray go in favor of the SUB. One of the reasons that I got the SUB was to do a sparkle paint job on it, now I know that I need to get it done! BTW, the look with no pickguard absolutely makes the bass!!!!
