FS: (Nashville Area) Fender Squier Classic Vibe 50s Bass (Blonde) - UPGRADES!!!

This is local only (Nashville area). For right now, I don't want to deal with shipping or Paypal. If you have a friend or family who can pick the bass up and ship it to you, that would be fine. I have the original shipping box. But lookin' for cash only, no trades.

For sale is my Squier Classic Vibe 50s bass. I really hate to sale but I have bills that need to be paid and I've been focusing more time on my Upright bass. Figured I could let this one go.

This bass was purchased brand new. I had some mods/upgrades done by a local shop. I was goin' for the look of a '55 Fender bass with this one.

* The headstock logo has been replaced with a 50s Fender decal. The headstock has been retinted to match the neck. The serial number and "crafted in china" is still on the back as well as the Squier neck plate. There is also a small chip on the back of headstock on edge.

* Stock tuners were replaced with Genuine Fender 51 RI Tuners. Also replaced stock string guide with a Genuine Fender original string guide.

* Original high mass bridge was replaced with a string through body 2 saddle bridge. Body had to be drilled and ferrules installed on back

* Chrome bridge/pickup covers installed

* The local shop replaced the stock pots (not sure what kind) also replaced stock knobs with the "tele" style dome knobs.

* I put a Fender 51 RI Matte Black pickguard on. The holes didn't line up perfect. I had to drill some new holes for the new guard. The old holes are all covered. Some holes lined up but not perfect. Causing a few screws to not be flushed. But it's something that's not really noticeable.

* New Fender flatwound strings installed

I can give the buyer a used padded gig bag. It's actually pretty nice. Some scuffs. Thicker padding than the cheaper gig bags. I think its a Kaces?

Price is $400. Keep in mind, I paid $350 + tax just for the bass alone. And if you figure in the upgrades, I have a lot more in this bass. Thanks.

That looks solid. Would more than justify the 20 minute drive for me, if only I was in the market for a red-hot precision...
