Selling one of the coolest, and most unique, basses I've ever owned.
First off: its a shortscale. It's a very surprising 30.5" - which plays wonderfully!! It's rare for me to find a shortscale that I enjoy, and this one IS IT!
Secondly: it's made in the heart of Minnesota!
Third: it's the hotness!
Fourth: the neck. Dear Lord, the neck. Its a jazz width (I believe 1.5"). It has a wonderful V profile in the lower register - which makes it feel (to me) like a high-end Martin. Easily, and truthfully, one of my all-time favorite necks.
Also: NECK-THROUGH!
I've currently got it strung with DR flats. I can toss in the rounds that were on it previously (Laklands... I think).
There are a few things worth mentioning: there's some marking on the back. I put a penny in the picture, for reference. Secondly, there are some "scratches" on the front. They're under the finish, and only can be seen in the right light. I've documented these the best I can in the pictures.
I'm asking $675 shipped in a nice gig bag, or $750 in a Mono M80 guitar bag (fits like a glove). I'm open to offers, but no trades - unless they involve at least $250 coming my way.
