NEW 2001, MADE IN USA, PEAVEY MILLENNIUM 4

OK all of you PEAVEY lovers and admirers - please come take a look! This is a rare treat and a great opportunity IMHO.

For sale is a NEW, 2001 (USA) Peavey Millennium 4 string in Candy Apple Red.

This bass was never used other than to make sure it works and tuned. It has been meticulously maintained in an air controlled and smoke free environment for 10 years. I purchased this with the intent to use for certain needs, but .... It is a magnificent piece, but simply not my thing. So I have decided to part with it.

It still has the plastic on the back panels, and its all original with not one blemish (that I can find). I have all of the original documents, including hang tag & the 2001 manual. I even have the allen wrenches. And, yes, even the strings are original.

Just a summary: It is an active bass using two 9 volt batteries. It's solid Alder with an Eastern maple neck (graphite reinforced) with a Pau Ferro (GORGEOUS) fingerboard, with 8" radius. Two internally active humbucking J-style pickups. On board 3-band active EQ with bass/treble boost and cut and variable mid range with boost and cut.

These retailed for $1,000++ in 2001.

Comes with the original padded and lined, Peavey gig-bag.

Yea, she's a sweetheart alright. Minty as they come. $615 is a good price, someone should jump on this.
Your Red Milli is unique in that it's a JJ and will punch through a brick wall. Lol. The Pickup spacing is different than most and thats where this bass excels above other Millys, but you gotta love the Jazz tone.
Even my Minty "Plus" model, now owned by Jackajesusfreak, didn't get as punchy as this one does.
And they LOOK SO GOOD on stage!!

Wow, I never knew they made a dual jazz pup version. I just assumed all USA Mills were jazz / music man configuration.

That's what I LOVE about Peavey. Not only do they produce the best USA made basses, but there are seemingly limitless designs. I friggen' LOVE Peavey.
