It's as close to brand new as you'll get without having to pay full price. Pictures are below. Notice UPC code and pick guard protector still intact. Strung with a new set of LaBella flatwounds 45-65-85-105. Price is $1600 shipped anywhere in the CONUS.

No one? Really? A $350.00 reduction on a brand new bass and in a color that is no longer available? |

The sister to this bass is just as nice only a tad lighter. I updated the p-ups and electronics with Nordstrands and outfitted it with LaBella flats. Amazing.
Thanks again, I'll go sit and breathe for a while. |

I like the low-end thump the Nordstrand package delivers when combined with the flatwounds. It's not a matter of better or worse, just a different flavor that works better under my fingers. This bass, the one for sale above, I decided to leave complete and re-string with D'Addario nickle rounds before I eventually just opted to sell it altogether. My fretless MM has that combo and really responds nicely when comping or playing double stops. Regardless, I'm a tube and flatwounds player. That's all there is to it. I'm selling this bass to fund a Sadowsky p-bass purchase, otherwise I'd just keep it.
