FS: Nordy vj4 priced to sell

SOLD
This is the last bass I'd ever need, except that I'm saving up for a double bass and must lay some electric basses down at the altar to sacrifice them for a greater cause.
Carey is working on another bass for me which will cover all my needs, I'm only gonna hold on to that bass so all others must go.

How rude of me...

Here's the Fine Print as copied and pasted from my very own pm, I put key phrases in bold and included the commentary for all interested parties

This has the Audere 3 band preamp. I thought about putting the Nordstrand preamp in but I've found sounds that I really love with the Audere so I was never really inspired to make the change.

It has the Big Singles pickups I wanted to keep this one, but my other bass that Carey has might not be done until January or February and I need to pay for this upright. Carey is fixing my Eshenbaugh 5 string tenor, so it's a different beast from the Nordy and this bass will definitely be missed.

The bass has dunlop straplocks and a Pro-Tec gig bag that I use with it all the time.

There are a couple of dings that I see right now looking at the bass. They are both small dings and just from the bass being played and gigged - one is on the bottom of the bass, I think I set it down somewhere without a stand and the other one is on the back of the neck around the 5th fret and I don't know how it happened. It looks like a fingernail jabbed into it.

No issues with playability or sound or anything like that.

Weighs less than my Fender which weighs less than 9lbs...my scale is locked up in storage somewhere, sorry can't be more specific.

That is more like 60's spacing and the body is swamp ash. That is what Cary was doing for the VJ's (atleast when I ordered mine).

CON SARN IT! That is pretty much my favorite spec. Just add tort guard and Hipshot Extender, maybe passive plate...drool...had a 5 string just like it.

Why am I downsizing NOW???

EduardoK,
I'll keep that in mind but that'll be my only electric bass so I'll probably be holding on to it for a while

That Eshenbaugh is one of a kind but there were a few problems with it.
I'm stoked to get it back and see what it's like after Carey has re-fretted it, fixed the neck and installed his dual coil pickup
