Up for Sale is a Nordy VPJ5. This one is a stunner. In like new condition . 8.8 lbs of versatility. Its got a few unique features. 1.81 nut width (like a Modern) with a classic profile all on a one piece neck, Nitro paint, and a 3 way switch for pickup selection, 34" scale. The playability on this is as good if not better than any Nordy's Ive owned. Stoopid low action. NP5 in front and a split coil J for totally quiet operation. Its got the full grunt of a P and adding the J really tightens this one up to sound more like a Jazz. It will ship in a Protech Contego case. $2200 shipped conus

Beeutiful Ice Blue
I've played a Classic vJ5, are you saying a Modern would be narrower? Was this special order neck then?

Yes...it was a special order, from what I'm told. Yes, the modern neck is just a touch more narrow. Like a lakland, and the classic is more fender like. The color is dark ice blue. It glows I'm person. It's got a shimmer to it. I got lots of compliments on the look. The tone cuts through in the mix...

This was my custom ordered bass, I ordered the neck to be a slimmed down vp5 profile, so what they came up with was a 1.81 nut compared to 1.875, and they took some "meat" off the shoulders. The result was a more even slope to the neck and it fits really nice in your hands.
