REDUCED! FS/Now possible Trades!: Spector Legend 6 w/MAJOR Upgrades.

Sign in to disble this ad
UPDATED!!! REDUCED!!!!
Got my Euro, so although I'll miss it, this has got to go.
Starting new thread to add possible trade options.
I really need to sell this, but here are some possible full or partial (+ or - $$$) trade options:
1. MarkBass Little Mark Tube 800.
2. MarkBass MoMark 800 or bigger (with modules).
Really not interested in any LMII, LMIII, F1 or F500 as I have these and need more than 500 watts for my next amp head (unless its a + major $$$ deal I can't turn down).
However......
3. Interested in the MiniMark stuff (+ $$$).
4. Line 6 Relay30 wireless (+ $$$).
5. EBS DPhaser (+ $$$).
I'll add more stuff as it comes to me.

And now, the bass......
Spector Legend Classic 6.

Has the Spector style inlay stickers from Creative Cuts.
Have been on a year and wear like iron, but will leave no residue if removed (which I can do for you).

Has a pro setup (including nut filing) and plays as well or better than many Euros.

2 Major Upgrades:
Original "Tone Pump Jr." pre replaced with an Aquilar OBP-1.
Original passive SSD pickups replaced with active EMG-TW's.
Rather than push/pull pots (for the coil switching) I used the standard 25ohm pots and wired in two mini toggles instead.
These upgrades would be about $400 if self installed.
More if you paid a tech.

Bass is in excellent condition with only a couple minor beauty marks (and extra strap button hole on the bottom).
Low action with nary a buzz (unless you play like a gorilla ).

REDUCED!!!
I'm going to ask $550 shipped with these upgrades in the Con US. Shipped in a older Spector hard case.

I have a matching newer form fitting Spector case (the one for 5's and 6's) I can include for an extra $50 (would cost $160 new).

$550 w/Older Spector case shipped Con US.
$600 w/Newer Spector case.
PayPal.

Thanks.

Sorry guys & gals. Had to put it on eBay:
Spector Legend 6 Bass w/MAJOR UPGRADES!!! - eBay (item 180641056303 end time Mar-25-11 18:00:46 PDT)

Mods, don't jump the delete gun here.
This thread is simply a cleaned up repost (now with trades) of the original (now deleted) thread. This has been for sale here for a month or more.
Well within the rules (as we discovered last time this happened ).

If anyone would like to get this for the stated TalkBass price before either my eBay Reserve or B.I.N. are hit, I will honor it and close the eBay auction.

My good sir, what is the string spacing on this. At the nut? And at 12?

Everything you should need is right here:
Stuart Spector Designs, LTD - Makers of fine electric and bass guitars: UNCOMPROMISING QUALITY | UNPARALLELED VERSATILITY | UNBELIEVABLE SOUND
Don't let the HTML wording fool you. Its the specs page for the Legend Classic 6 ^^^.

At 12th fret seems to be about 2 11/16".

Dang, I want this, but I do not know how I myself can go about acquiring it... I have a Peavey Grind 5 NTB that I might sell in order to get some cash.

Just a heads up,
the eBay auction will be ending on Friday at 6pm. PST.
I'm not sure I can end the auction after the 24 hours remaining mark. If it doesn't hit the reserve it will still be available here none the less.
