NS Design CR4M Elec. Upright Bass

Not only does it come with the tripod stand and the extension that lets up hold it like a standard upright, I've also got a custom gig bag that Undercover Cases made for this bass. It's much better than the bag NS Design offers for it.

Although I've owned it for a few years, the bass is pretty much in perfect condition. I'm just doing more bike riding these days instead of bass playing and I'm trying to finance a new bike purchase.

Specs on the bass can be found here; http://thinkns.com/instruments/crbass.php
I can send more photos if you can shoot me your email address. I live in Chicago, but would be willing to ship it for the price of the actual UPS Ground shipping fee (anywhere from $30 to $50, depending on your location).

I think I bought a Wendler from you a while back Brian. I sold that a while ago as I decided if I was going to do the "upright" thing that it just works better to do it as close to a "real" upright as possible. I was thinking about a NXT but then I hear clips of these and while the NXT sounds really good, these are so much better. Just have to decide if it's $800 better or not.

I don't know about the NXT, but I had a WAV before this CR4. The difference was rather dramatic on every level. Oddly enough, the WAV - at about a third of the price - wasn't really worth the money IMHO, but I thought the CR4 was well worth the price.

Yeah, I don't like the WAV basses. I played a NXT and it was better. There are some good improvements, but not like the CR4M basses.

If the CR4M sounds as good as my NS OmniBass 5, then it's gotta sound fabulous!

BUMP for a great piece!
