Hi, Please check this thread for all the details about this bass.

1978 Fender P with reverse headstock question

I bought it from the Vintage Dept of Guitar Center online, and I have till tomorrow night to return it.

They say they have made a mistake on price and they will put it back up at a higher price I think, so here is a chance for someone to get a great deal on one.

$1,350 Shipped CONUS, no trades on this one...

It has a REVERSE HEADSTOCK, a correct period lefty neck.

I have decided not to keep it because a) I just bought another one (for quite a bit more) that I think I prefer, b) the reverse headstock thing is not for me, and I miss the side dots.

I have to return it by Saturday night, or you can have it at my cost. I need the paypal by 5pm eastern, and I will ship Monday.

Bump for a cool and unique bass. I'd make a play (just for it's uniqueness), but I think I'd miss the side dots too. Just curious...I don't suppose there was a sticker with the serial number on it under the pickguard. I know that was common after they moved the serial number to the headstock. If it was there...and it matched the headstock serial number, it would at least give some evidence that it left the factory that way.
