I've got two to sell to a new loving home... I've just decided that I like my jazz basses better, so I need to sell these!
Pics to follow in the next post...having some trouble with them, but will try. A) 2004-2005 Fender MIM Mike Dirnt Precision Bass (4-string) that is in FANTASTIC condition. -- $500 shipped ConUS
No dings, chips, gouges, scrapes, scratches, buckle rash, etc. Maybe a small amount of swirl to the finish, and just a bit of speckling to the chrome control plate. In fact, the finish is so shiny, I had trouble photographing it with a flash and resorted to "no flash" pics for most of them.... You can see how well the finish reflects in the photos.
I've made a few minor modifications: a) Black strap buttons b) Custom 3-ply pickguard (White/Black/Silver "Marble" - $40 value). I liked the look of the new pickguard--seemed to really dress it up and at the same time be more subtle than the stock 1-ply parchment pickguard (also included--see below).
Everything else is stock and works well:
It has the Leo Quan Badass II Bridge, Vintage '70 Fender stamped tuners, Custom Vintage '59 Split-Coil pickup, '51 headstock shape and slab style body, '55 style front arm contour and pickguard shape.
It is strung with a barely used pair of Thomastik-Infeld Jazz Flatwounds (worth $85). I use these to save my fingers and the frets, but also to get a warmer feel to the sound. Using the tone control, I can get either the punchy/brighter sound or the deeper/warmer tones with these strings.
I'm also including the original Fender 1-ply parchment pickguard (still has protective cover on it), and a second after-market pickguard from Jeannie's Pickguards. It is a 3/32" thick 1-ply gloss black (1-ply that is as thick as a 3-ply)--worth $30. I opened it to confirm it would fit, but never mounted it. It did not have a protective film, so has a few very minor subtle scratches. I'm also throwing in a Fender gig bag.
I've recently had it professionally set-up, adjusted, and intonated.
In the honest total forthcoming of known issues, there does seem to be a minor ground hum that comes and goes that developed lately. It disappears when you touch the control plate, knobs, bridge, or jack.... I'm guessing this is a quick soldering fix for you! Here's the specs from Fender:

For those not familiar with the Zone, it is basically a continuation of the Fender Precision Bass Lyte line and was made from 2000-2006. A slightly smaller body, weighs about 6-7 lbs.
It is all stock.
American split coil P pickup & noiseless J pickup. Some report to have had a problem with the electronics, but not this one--this baby rocks! A great resonance when strung through the body (optional) but I have it strung through the bridge. It has passive pickups, but an active onboard equalizer (treble, mid--yes, mid!, & bass), a pan pot to dial in just the right mix of P vs. J pickup, and a master volume. There is no humming, noise, etc.
It has the smaller (and smoother, to me) Gotoh tuners. It currently has some nickle-plated roundwounds on it (can't remember which brand). Frets show no wear.
I got this from a fellow TB'er and it is a beauty! Great color! Again, no dings, gouges, scratches, chips, dents, etc. There is a little scuffing on the P pickups from the previous owner (pick marks?), but that is it.
Recently professionally set up and intonated.
No known issues.
Also comes with a Fender gig bag. Here's the specs from Fender:
