Hate to do this, but one of my pups needs ear surgery and I need to come up with some quick cash. Up for sale is my 1974 Rickenbacker 4001. It is by no means a minty piece, but it does have some serious mojo. It's worn pretty heavily, but not damaged. Used - a lot - but not abused. I've had it for a couple years, here is what I know about it:
Serial #: NE3332 - dates to may of 1974
Wavy Grovers - The E-String tuner feels a little loose but works fine.
According to the guy I bought it from, it had the truss rods professionally replaced at some point.
It has the capacitor bypass mod, easy to reverse, just remove one wire.
It has red fret markers, someone told me this was pretty rare, but I can't find any info on them.
