I bought this on a whim a couple of months ago, but really, I have too many basses to choose from.

Absolutely gorgeous exotic wood, no idea what it is, though, but it is stunning in person, with flaming and lots of depth to the grain. Brand new frets, I had the bass refretted and set up a couple weeks ago. A new plastic string spacer (the bass has a zero fret) is on the bass but the original aluminum spacer will be included.

With the exception of the new knobs (one was missing when I bought the bass, the one original I do have will be included), and Schaller straplock buttons (again, only one was original when I bought the bass and that will be included).

Everything else is original. There are a couple of dings but the bass is in great shape, otherwise. See photos for details; I will e-mail bigger files if needed.

Original hardshell case will be included.

$500 plus shipping (cost dependent on destination), US Postal Money Orders only thanks.

CONUS only.

it is prob walnut...that is one of the earliest ones and has the best tensile aluminum according to the designer...as long as the neck is straight that one will last forever...

IIRC Kramer was using more "exotic" African hardwoods, this does not look like any walnut I have ever seen. Regardless, it is an amazing looking wood.

The neck is the reason I bought the bass in the first place, even though the frets were quite worn; it is a true, straight, fast neck. I have 40-95 Chromes on it at the moment, to keep those brand new frets nice and new. The tone is nice and aggressive, yet warm sounding, even the lead guitarist in my band loved the sound of the bass.

Kramer did not skimp when making these instruments, it has Schaller tuning keys and quick release bridge, the aluminum plates on the back are thick, the neck mount uses machine bolts that solidly hold the neck to the body, everything about this bass exudes quality.

TTT This bass could go overseas by taking the neck off and putting everything in a smaller box to be easier to ship.
