Hey guys, got this from a fellow TBer a few months back, but need to sell it now due to buying a new car.

1984 Pedulla Interceptor Bass Guitar in great condition. This is the model that the MVP is based off of. This has the active Bartolini electronics and pickups with a dual J and P. The neck thru design and attention to detail really show off Michael Pedulla's build quality. Comes with the OHSC with blue plush lining, schematics of electronics and the original sales receipt. This bass is so cool, the hardware is the best I have ever seen (The bridge especially) and the tuners were built in WEST Germany! Recently setup at Guitar Trader, brand new 9v and DR High Beams with 3 hours on them and a new coat of oil on the body. This truly is a one of a kind bass. The back of the headstock was mis-stamped and reads EMS even though it is an Interceptor.

Price is $1000 shipped CONUS with insurance.

Nice bass! I'm tempted to buy it because they are so rare but I've already got one!

What is the scale on this bass? Do you know what the woods are?

I believe it is 34" scale. Not sure on the woods used, but it feels awesome.

What's the significance of the "EMS" stamp and is the oil finish original?

When Michael built the bass, he accidentally stamped it as an EMS and not an Interceptor. Just simple human error. The finish is very natural/organic an we just used a little wax on her to keep the wood healthy.
