Thumbs up FS Only: 1995 Ibanez ATK500KA Koa MIJ - JAWESOME!

Hurts to do this, but I gotta generate some funds for plane tickets to see my sister get married this summer. Sooooo, here goes.

Up for sale is my '95 Ibanez ATK500KA. Bought this baby last August from a local TB'er and it just rules. Made in Japan. Alder body, Koa top, Maple neck & fret board. Considerably lighter than other ATKs I've played. Triple coil active pickup w/3 band EQ that smokes a StingRay!

Asking $375. I'd prefer a local sale (Seattle area), but PM me and we can work something out. Comes with gig bag. Will have photos up ASAP.

I am interested, I sold a MIJ ATK Prestige for about the same price two years ago and I miss it. Can you send me some pics please.

This is a great deal! MIJ and they made them for only one model year. I have one of these and I will never sell it. The sound of it is just so nice. Stingray-like but more polite, very sweet mids and top. The coil splitter gives you the neck-side coil only with hum cancelling which gets closer to P-bass territory, very usable tone for fingerstyle. GLWTS

I'll trade ya for a Ric, lol

Just got this baby set up by my guitar player. It was tuned and intonated for C-standard...now back to E-standard. Sounds and feels great!

I'm not certain on the nut width. The bass is at my practice space. I will find out for you ASAP.

I have the same bass. It's awesome! Quite a looker as well as a great player. With the koa top it looks way more expensive than it is.
