FS/Trade: 2 Band Ernie Ball Musicman Stingray

The latest in my revolving door of threads on this bass. I bought a Stingray 5, so this one needs to go unfortunately.

2003 Stingray, 2-band EQ, black/maple, 9.4 pounds. Plays and sounds like a Stingray should. Some wear on the back near the bottom strap pin including a ding through the finish, and some light belt buckle wear on the back that is only visible when the light hits it right. Pictures of all wear in the photo gallery linked below.

Comes with original EBMM case, and a set of Ernie Ball Group II flats that were cut for and previously installed on this bass. Currently strung with semi-new Slinkies (45-100)

$845 shipped in the continental US. Discount for local pickup/delivery in the Hudson Valley or north NJ. If it doesn't sell stateside, I'm willing to consider an international sale if the buyer pays for shipping.

All PM"s replied - still available.

I would be open to a trade for a bass plus cash as long as at least $400ish is coming my way.

I don't really have anything specific in mind - just figured I may get more play out of a trade given the state of the economy. Looking for a backup bass/amp - a decent 5 string, nice P-bass, Musicman SUB or other less expensive 4 string, backup amp in the $200 range.

Do any of these interest you? I also have a Hartke HA3500 that I use as a backup amp that I would be willing to let go.

Warwick FNA Jazzman 5 string 1998 FS

1983 Fender Precision Black/Maple Original

Nice basses! Unfortunately I'm looking to trade down - need to offset the Stingray 5 I just bought.

I've never had luck with the 3500's when I've used them. Heard them sound great in the hands of other people, just not mine.

does the back of the neck have the oil finish or is it the same poly on the entire neck?

Its the oil/wax blend like the current instruments. Very smooth and comfortable to my taste.

Recap Bump:

Prefer a sale. but would consider a trade for one of the following...

Sterling By MusicMan 5 string plus cash
G&L Tribute L-2500 plus cash
Other comperable 5 (or maybe even a 4) string plus cash
GK 400RB (older) or similar head plus more cash
In-ear monitor system plus cash

I need at least around $400 coming my way in any trade.
