Excuse my ignorance but did you have to modify the body to put the Nordstrands in or do they fit in the stock jazz pickup cavity ? |
Yup. The big singles don't fit the stock cavity. |

No comparison IMO. Big singles are huge bold and articulate single coil awesomeness. That's not how I'd describe the stock PU's although they weren't bad or anything. And they were incredibly noisy (especially for hum-canceling PUs) |
These new American Deluxe's play/sound just like any high end boutique basses if you didn't know. Devastating low B strings. And this one has Nordstrand Big Singles in it.. So.. you can imagine. Gimme an offer! |
