- Black/Maple
- Serial # B013939 (which I believe puts it at late '83, maybe '84)
- Neck has had the gloss finish removed and an oil seal applied, it is absolute butta! (I do this to all of my players and I am completely spoiled with it. My Luthier has it down to a fine art!)
- Condition 9/10 in my opinion. The two areas with a ding/scratch (I think the scratch would disappear with the right dressing) are visible in the photos, but they are not through the wood and only noticeable if really looking.
- Neck is perfect and everything functions as normal.
- $700/shipped with non- original HSC

g/l with the sale of this mid-rangy, killer J-with-a-P-type-neck.

As stated below, I have had mine since '89 and through all the basses since then, she is still # 1 in my stable!!!

I'd guess it's the overall second favorite bass I've ever owned and has earned its spot as a lifer. It's the one that made me happily sell my '02 American Deluxe Jazz. Well, well worth the asking price!

Good Luck! |

May I know what's the body wood, is the neck straight and truss rod functional?
Thanks! |

Can't believe this is still here. 12 to 18 months ago, this would have been lucky to last a day. |

Anyway, I'm back on my feet! dritersinc, I am unsure of the body wood on these slab models and so will go with Fats on this one. (Thanks for the input Fats) - Condition 9/10 in my opinion. The two areas with a ding/scratch (I think the scratch would disappear with the right dressing) are visible in the photos, but they are not through the wood and only noticeable if really looking.
