Looks like it. The 83 Fullertons had single ply pickguards (as a former owner myself).

Really?? Oh man that was a quick turnaround. Well to anyone on the fence thinking about this old girl... This bass cured my GAS for an entire year it's that nice. I didn't so much look at another.
