FS ONLY - BEAUTIFUL SPECTOR DOUG WIMBISH RELISTED WITH NEW PICS

Sign in to disble this ad
I have found something that I MUST have and this one will have to go to raise funds and make room for it! I bought her last June from Bass Central new and I am the only owner. She certainly has one of the most beautiful finishes on a Wimbish (or any other bass for that matter) I have ever seen. GREAT feeling, playing, and sounding bass! She weighs right at 8.5 lbs and comes with the original Spector Hard case that has never been out of the house since I got her. She is currently strung with Sadowsky Blue Nickel strings that are used but still sound good and has a set of Gold Dunlop straplocks installed. I have to get $1,500.00 SHIPPED to the lower 48 for her and I am not looking for trades at all as I am using the proceeds to buy another bass. I bought a US 9 volt pre to go in her but loved the sound of the stock pre and never even took the US pre out of the box.

I would have to use a no fee or low fee transaction for payment at this price. We can discuss those options once you PM me. There are ZERO issues at all with this bass and she is in great shape. The usual swirling that is hard to photograph and a couple minor dings from use but nothing major and nothing that affects playability or tone. This is one I did not see myself selling but I have no choice at this time. I am simply out of room and need to free up the funds to put somewhere else...

Here are some pics of her in action...Forgive the bass face and posing! LOL!

And some pics of her at rest. Forgive the lighting effects of my skylight...

Please PM me with any questions. Thanks for looking and God Bless!

This is still available! I leave tomorrow morning for a cruise and won't be back until 2/5 but I am going to try and keep up via WIFI on the ship. If I do not respond to inquiries it means that I am unable to get here. Thanks and I appreciate your patience until I return! Thanks and God Bless!

Peace,

T

Beautiful bass... Question for you, I had a Spector Czech for a while but could not get the action low enough for my tastes...I assume it was an issue with that particular bass but it never hurts to ask...can the action on this bass go low?

Action was actually TOO low for me when I got it. I play moderately light to moderately heavy at times and I have had NO problems at all getting her setup to my tastes. I am not sure of the measurements when I got her but it was typical very low action that you see on a lot of US Spectors. In my opinion it is pretty low now. I like to get the lowest possible action that has no fret noise or clack going on and be comfortable to play. I LOVE the way the bass feels and plays and it sounds most delicious as well. Hope that helps. For what its worth I can get it as low as I play on My Fodera! Hope that helps!

Peace,

T

Couple offers but not interested in low balls guys...This is a great bass at a very nice savings over a new one! I have never seen a better looking top or finish on one of these! Dig up some pics from recent sales and see what I mean!!

Peace,

T
