This bass is almost brand new but unfortunately I have to sell it to pay for books/tuition for this upcoming semester, very bummed (but I understand how interest works and don't want any part of student loans). I love this bass and it is in mint condition but I don't really have a choice.
This is a Boulder Creek Fretless 5 String with LaBelle White Nylon Tapewound strings and a hard case from Boulder Creek. The original D'Addario Bronze strings it shipped with are included as well.
The bass has an active AB4-T preamp with built-in chromatic tuner, bass, mid, treble and brilliance controls, 1/4 out and a balanced out as well. It is a dream to play and the satin finish on the body and neck make it very comfortable. It is loud in comparison
to any other acoustic bass I've played, that was my number one criteria when purchasing this bass and I definitely made the right decision as far as that goes. The White Nylon Labella Tapewounds make this fretless as close to an upright sound as you can get on a 34 inch scale.
The links for all the products included are: (http://www.bouldercreekguitars.com/product/acoustic-bass-ebr3-n5f)($712 value at Bass Club Chicago), the La Belle White Nylon Tapewounds (http://www.bassstringsonline.com/La-...CT_p_1407.html
) ($60 value), and the Boulder Creek Hard Case (http://www.amazon.com/Boulder-Creek-...reek+hard+case
) (I paid around $130 for it given that Bass Club Chicago gave me 10% off on it, explained below).
I am selling it all together for $600 SHIPPED, pretty much the exact amount I have estimated I will need for books.
It is a joy to play, the only cosmetic damage is in the hard case. There is a dent, reflected in the pictures, that was present before I purchased the bass. It is not deep and the integrity of the case hasn't been compromised.
As a final note, I apologize for the picture quality, I live in a garden level apartment and it is raining out today, little natural light to work with. I also understand that since this is my first sale on TB I have no feedback. I am, however, happy to provide any assurances that you need (verified address, tracking numbers, or whatever else you see fit).
