I got this from a fellow TBer some time back. this bass has been played. has some good wear between pups and some scratches on back. niether of which really shows up in pics. does not affect play at all. bass plays and sounds great. heres the deal:

swamp ash body
wenge maple neck ( nice )
bart MK1 pups
new Bart NTMB pre amp ( no noise at all even pinned )
knob conf. is m,b,t,blend, mid select switch, and push-pull volume/active-passive select

also, the jack was moved from the side to the top anf the hole on the side was plugged and refinished. ( see pics )

002.jpg[/IMG]

the pre is silent as far as hiss and is very transparent. action is low with no buzz. ( with my light touch at least )

no case but will pack it up very well.

please no low offers. payed $400 with the pre and it really plays well and sounds great. $200 takes it.

Maybe if this is till up in a month I could possibly be able to buy.

It will almost certainly be gone by then though

The jack could be moved back right?

About the rosewood board, they already used wenge so why go with rosewood? Mind-boggling.

Holy $#!% I sold this bass a while back. Now it's upgraded and cheaper than ever! Someone get this. I vowed never to buy back a bass I sold!

This is one of the lightest, easiest playing basses around. Dollar for dollar the best bass I've ever owned. Several years back I was playing a Zon, but the soundguy was asking about the bass I'd brought the last time. I told him it was this Cort (before rythman upgraded the pre). He refused to believe me.

Can you snap a pic of the headstock? Is it back w. the C cut in the top right?

Soundclip? Particularly interested in the E.

Did you pay $400, and then buy the pre-amp. Or, did it come with the pre-amp. Weight?

I paid 200 or 250, I forget, and I put the NTMB in it for 180, woorth every penny but I don't play it , it just hangs on the wall. I'm all fretless right now.
