- G&L SB-2 #CLF40768
- This one I have customized with all black hardware (hipshot ultralites, G&L bridge including all screws, knobs, nut, PG screws, neck screws/bushings)
- Has the stacked knob tone mod.
- 8.5-9/10 it has just a couple of dings that I’ve tried to capture in the photos, but nothing is through the wood; pick guard has usual pick marks. Everything functions perfectly!
- Custom shop w/ matching head stock and no fret dots on maple neck. I’m not 100% sure, but do believe this to be a #7 neck, it is 1 ¾” at the nut.
- Just over 10/lbs
https://picasaweb.google.com/1053446...eat=directlink

This is one beautiful bass I have received more compliments on the “killer” looks of this bass than any other I have owned, someone will be very happy with this one…
- $800 shipped w/ Fernandes tweed HSC

Ah god. Last time this was up for sale I lost sleep trying to come up with the money. Good thing now I'm in an even worse financial position so I have no chance of buying it. This bass is siiiiiick.

Thanks guys, I'd hate to cast a low blow and tell you how 'siiiick' this thing sounds with the legendary MFD's and tone mod, so I'll just say; in the modern G&L category, she is a beauty all the way around!

Unbelievable! I bought an SB2 here in the TB Classifieds that arrived this week. It is also black/black with matching headstock and maple board with no dots! It doesn't bother me at all to know there's another one out there... but I never thought I'd see it!

Free bump because I have a lot of really nice basses and even so I am blown away at how nice the SB2 sounds and how much the J pickup adds to the tonal palette of the bass. My '66 P had a J pickup in it when I got it and I got it taken out and the hole where it was filled because I really didn't think it helped the sound in any way. But, I love my new SB2, including what the J pickup adds.

That said, mine does not have the Tone mod and I will definitely be adding it. That will add another whole dimension to what I can do with the sound. And here, this bass already has all that.

Good luck with the sale!
