PAYMENT RECEIVED AND THIS ONE IS HEADED OUT ON MONDAY!!
EDIT - I know at some point I will definitely regret it but this one is definitely for sale....Thanks for all the advice and concern but in the end it is best for both of us!
I am looking to replace her with a 20th Anniversary SR5 OR 25th Anniversary Reflex H or HH ONLY and THOSE ARE THE ONLY TRADE I would consider. I am specifically looking for one UNDER 10 lbs...That is NOT flexible at all as I have a bone disease in my back and I have to get closer to 9 to 9.5 lbs with my basses. My current SR5 HH is 9.75 lbs and I need one lighter than that if I can find it. I hope someone will see this and have a nice 9 lb beauty they want to trade...Hit me up if you do!
This is another tough one for me! This is THE PERFECT Stingray 4 H! She was made specifically for Bass Player Live and is definitely a SHOW BASS in every sense of the word. She is absolutely flawless in every way. She is done in a BEAUTIFUL FIESTA RED with a matching Headstock and has the most amazing BIRDSEYE MAPLE neck AND FINGERBOARD I have ever seen on any bass. I was VERY LUCKY to buy this bass as she was only offered for sale during the Bass Player Live show a couple of months ago. She is in BRAND NEW CONDITION with NO ISSUES of any kind whatsoever. The TONE is absolutely amazing and has that classic Stingray tone that we all have heard for so many years. The fit, finish, and playability is simply amazing and completely befitting a SHOW bass. I have NO complaints of ANY kind on this bass and can not find a single thing I would change about it. The action is setup pretty low but could probably be set lower if you wanted as I don't have extremely low action on any of my basses but I have set it lower than the factory setup. The frets are essentially new and have no issues at all. The G is GREAT and both the D and G sound as thick and full as the A and D. I have used this bass on a couple of TV appearances and it looks BADASS on a stage and on Video. My sound engineer told me that if I got rid of it he would kick my a$$ but I HAVE to HAVE 5 strings for the gig I am doing and I do not collect basses anymore so this one is going to have to go to pick up a 20th Anniversary SR5 I have found. I thought that I would keep this one forever and someone who has more room most likely will as it is definitely a once in a lifetime bass for the player, serious collector or the fanatical Ray buff (much like me! I only play Rays now!) I have NO problem shipping this one international BUT the buyer MUST pay all shipping, all fees, and the declared value MUST BE EQUAL to the amount of Insurance I put on the bass. I would STRONGLY suggest insuring this one for at least the purchase price or possibly even more as this is a one off (I was told by EBMM this is a one off). I understand that they may NOT do this color on the Classics and I was told that they will DEFINITELY NOT do a matching headstock like this one has...
Here are some REALLY BAD PICS!! I hope to retake some with a good camera later on tonight:

Here is a link to a review I did of this bass:
Review and pics of NEW Fiesta Red Classic Stingray - TalkBass Forums
I can not say enough good things about her and I hate to part with her but it is just a piece of wood, right? At least that is what I will keep telling myself!
She will come professionally packed in the original EBMM hard shell case that has never left my house with all the original case candy. I will SHIP AND INSURE in the US for FULL PURCHASE price. I will ship internationally but the Buyer MUST PAY ALL shipping and ALL FEES and I will insure the bass for the FULL DECLARED VALUE.
I WILL NOT BE PERSONALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGE OR LOSS RELATED TO SHIPPING THE BASS UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. That is the purpose of the Insurance and I must insist that I am not personally liable in the event something happens in transit.
I have to get $2,000 for this PLUS $50 FLAT RATE SHIPPING/INSURANCE IN THE US and payment should be in the form of Wire Transfer, US POSTAL Money Order, or Bank Check. I will consider PayPal but we would have to negotiate the final terms of payment prior to the completion of the transaction. I welcome ANY and all questions and thank you all for looking! God Bless!
Peace,
T
