Two months old. I had this for sale before and got cold feet and closed the thread. However, I have come to the realization that I want to play 4 string only. Purchased all new hardware in Gold except the neck plate and rear string ferrules. String retainers in the pics are chrome but I have them in gold. Right now the bass is wearing the original chrome.
Also pickups were replaced with the new Aguilars 60's (I do not have the original N3's) The electronics were noisy which is a known problem with these basses so I planned to replace the electronics. I bought the Aquilars and a John East J Retro. After changing out the PU's, the hum went away and the tone was excellent. So good that I never installed the East preamp and got a refund. (Hums ever so slightly when either PU is solo'ed but ALL single coil jazzes do this.)
Weight is 9.4lbs but to be honest, it feels like it weighs less than that.
