I'll be honest. This was a recent impulse buy because I absolutely LOVE the way this bass looks and am enamored by the tonal versatility.
However, it doesn't do anything that my Clement Custom 4 already can't. I haven't really bonded with it yet, so here it is up for sale as a feeler.
Offering an essentially brand new Ernie Ball Music Man Big Al 4 with the three single coil pup's (SSS). Y'all know what these basses are about and you know what they retail for.
This one has the plastic and factory stickers on the pickguard detailing all of the controls, all factory case candy, hang tags, polish cloth, and the ever-important case key (lol). The molded SKB case fits like the proverbial glove.
The bass itself is in 9.9 condition. The only reason I can't give it a perfect 10 is because there is some mild tarnish on the "A" and "G" tuning keys (picky, I know...), but wanted all potential buyers to know it's there. Other than that, no issues whatsoever.
The tonal palette, as expected, is quite diverse (search youtube for "Big Al" and you'll find a slew of reviews) and can cover all styles.
The finish is a beautiful sunburst complimented by a black pickguard, black knobs, and black pups.
The neck is a lovely maple with black position markers.
She weighs in a 9.6 - 9.8 lbs on the ol' bathroom scale.
So, that's that.

Since this is a feeler, I reserve the right to keep this baby.
Let's say
$1550 + shipping to CONUS...that's about $150 less than they'd go for at retail...but why not save yourself some clams?
