FS only: Fender MIM Standard Jazz in rare Sage Green
Selling my 2001 MIM Fender Standard Jazz Bass in the fairly rare color of Sage Green Metallic.
In very, very, good condition, 9.8/10 -- but just for the sake of total disclosure: one very tiny 2-3 mm crack in the finish (not the paint or wood) in the corner of the neck pocket commonly found in most Fenders this age, a very small and hardly noticeable finish scuff on the lower edge of the lower bout and a small ding on the back of the neck at the 9th fret (see photos).
All original stock.
All chrome is rust free and shiny.
Electronics work well, no scratchy pots, etc.
Neck is straight and true with excellent frets that have little wear.
Kept either on the wall or in a case when out playing at my church for the last several years... no hard gigging!
Professionally set up in last 3 months.
No gig bag or case, but shipped via my typical "bomb-proof" packing (to quote a fellow TBer).
Selling it only to finance another bass purchase.
$425 shipped to ConUS seems about right to me, given the rare color... if you think otherwise, make me an offer.
I suppose if you want me to ship it out of the country I could dismantle the neck and box it up for you, but check with me for shipping costs first!
Thank you! I think so, too.
I actually have 3 sage green Mexi's .... but this one's gotta go.
To the top on a beautiful Sunday morn!
Nice. I really like that color.
Anyone out there got any love for the Mexi's and wants to own this beauty?
Saturday College Football bump
Sold locally for $395 (no shipping).
