Bass is in great condition. This bass produces superb acoustic bass sounds from an instrument that is only slightly larger than a standard solid-body bass and much lighter. The 2-chambered body design resists feedback as well as the negative effects that loud stage levels can have on top vibration. Vibration of the solid cedar top is further controlled by a cello inspired bracing pattern. The custom A-Bass electronics include an under-saddle ribbon transducer and preamp by L.R.Baggs.
The bass is now fitted with LaBella tapewound strings which gives it a warm upright sound, yet it still has note articulation.
The bass also comes with a custom-fit hard shell case by Godin. The case has some scuff marks and very minor tears, but overall is in fine and totally functional condition.
