| FS Only: Ibanez SR1205e Premium 5-String Bass w/ Nordstrand Big Single PUs
Up for grab is my Ibanez SR1205e. This bass is simply amazing. The quality of construction on this thing is way beyond its price range. Mahogany core with Ovangkol top, 5 peice Wenge and Buginga neck with titanium reinforced rods. Electoroic are Nordstrand Big Single with Ibanez EQB-IIISC 3-band EQs and a passive bypass. The weight of the bass is around 8.7lbs according to my bathroom scale, and the string spacings are 17.5mm.
Overall condition of the bass is 8.2/10. There's absolutely no structure issue, neck is dead straight and has the tightest B string I've ever played on a 34". There are quite of few indents and scratches on the back of the body, mainly due the less durable oil finish on Mahogany, and the last owner probably was quite careless. Though there are no chips, so if you really want, you can probably steam the indents out and refinish with oil. Otherwise, the neck is super clean and so is the body top, barely any marks (I don't think I could even find one.)
Hate to let this bass go, but one of my main basses needs some serious work, so I really need to come up with some fund. I am looking for $700 SOLD fee free (ie, Cash, Postal MO, E-Check, etc...) shipped Canada or USA by itself, if a case is needed I can add a Fender double gigbag for an additional $30.
