FS Only: Ken Smith Burner 6--SOLD!!

I just got these today in a trade for some PA gear that I was getting rid of. I need the money for other stuff, so I'm just gonna list 'em here before I end up getting attached to either of them.

First up is a Ken Smith Burner 6 string. According to the date on the inside of the control panel, it was made in '92. It's in amazing condition for a bass this old. VERY minor surface scratches on the back of the bass, but that's about all I can find. Plays and sounds very nice, even with the super-dead strings on it. Also is quite light for a 6 string---according to my scale, it's around the 9lb mark. Comes with the Ken Smith case, and a Ken Smith leather strap w/straplocks.

Sorry for my ingnorance, but are the Burners made in Korea?

According to the Ken Smith site, they were made in Japan and the US combined. This is apparantly the Burner Deluxe model, and originally sold new for around $1775 street price.

It's really a sweet playing bass, and is VERY light for a 6 string bass.

Ryan, that is a very good looking Burner. I am a former Ken Smith owner, and it looks very similar to a PA made Smith. The string spacing seems pretty close, what is the spacing?

I believe it's around 17mm, but I'll have to measure it to make sure.
