Looking to part with my recently acquisition, which I had gotten it through an impulsive trade. A Canadian master luthier handmade 4-string Kinal MK21 w/ single Bartolini pickups & 2-band EQ, alder body with quartersawn maple neck and Brazilian rosewood board. I love the sound and the feel of this bass a lot, but unfortunately I am more of a 5-string guy, and can't see myself taking it out for gigs ever. Really, this is just too nice of a bass to keep it at home only.
Overall condition of the bass is in excellent shape, no major dings and dents, there are some by the output jack, but nothing serious. I would give it an 9/10. The neck of the bass is straight and has an excellent feel, not super narrow like a jazz, but not as chunky as a Precision, either. It's kind of like a hybrid of the two. The neck measurement is 34" scale and the nut width is 1 11/16"
The bass is light in weight, and balances well with both strap on and sitting down. The Bartolini EQ's are powerful, and helps to shape of the tone of bass even with just a single P-pickups in the middle.
This one is for sale only, I am looking for
$950 $900 w/ no fee payment (ie, Cash, Postal MO, E-Check, etc...) shipped Canada and USA. Comes with a soft gigbag.
