Like the title says, this is a for sale only - I need to sell downsize my collection.

Up on the block is an older and great playing bass: MJ Engineering Custom Hollow Body 4-String Jazz Bass

Details:

• Built by MJ Guitars Engineering in the 90's
• Aguilar OBP-3 Preamp (18 Volt)
• Kent Armstrong Split Tube Jazz Bass Chrome Pickups
• Koa top and back
• Mahogany core (Hollow body wings)
• One piece graphite-reinforced maple neck
• Ebony Fingerboard
• Gotah Tuners wt. Drop D Tuner
• ESP Bridge
• only about [b]7.5lbs!!

This is a used-well great playing (action is low and it plays like butter), killer sounding bass ready to go. One of the things I like about this bass is the weight, you can wear this bass for hours without your back breaking. I recently had about $600 (Receipt included if requested) of work done on this bass including the installation of the Kent Armstrong Split Tube Jazz Bass Chrome Pickups, Aguilar OBP-3 Preamp, the frets leveled and crowned and a complete set-up with Ken Smith strings. Please note - that all work was done with Master Luthier Ron Blake over here in CT.

FYI - This is a hollow body bass as opposed to a chambered. So there is tendency for it to be a little unbalanced without a strap, with a strap it balances great and feels light on the shoulders.
