FS Only: Modulus Genesis Vintage Jazz GVJ-4

SOLD!

This a real peach of a bass but I am forced to do this for financial reasons. This passive GVJ has a beautiful maple neck, chechen board, upgraded Villex pick-ups option with a passive mid control that gives this bass a huge amount of tonal versatility. The body color is a cream (like buttercream) with tort guard.

The playabillity is fantastic, the fit and finish is Modulus top notch, and the tone ranges from burpee jazz played at the bridge with bridge pup favored and mids rolled off to ballsy and P-bass like with the mids cranked and the neck pup favored.

The neck is so stable, I haven't had to adjust it once since its first set-up after I purchased it.

The ONLY cosmetic flaws are a couple of very small dings, one on the lower bout that you really have to look for and one on the back that is more of a small indentation. I tried to get them to photograph, but could not.

Comes with its OSHC that works perfectly.

I am looking for $900 plus actual shipping to CONUSA. PayPal or money order will work for payment.

Please PM me for any questions or for my PayPal Addy.

Sorry, but it's all about money for me. If it were not, I wouldn't be selling. This is the only jazz bass I've ever owned that I really liked. Thanks anyway.

I was asked about weight, and I'll have to weigh it tomorrow. However, I doubt it is much over 9 pounds. It balances perfectly.

All PMs have been sent replies.

My old bass! This is a GREAT bass, folks!

If you haven't heard the Villex pickups, they are incredible!

I did get it. Just been away from the computer. I have replied. Let me know if you have any other questions. Yes, this bass is a cream with a bit of yellow to make it look aged. Under subdued light, you can really see the yellowish tint, but as the lighting goes up, the color becomes more off white.

I really like it much better than OLY white.

Believe me, if it weren't for this damn economy, I would not be doing this. These GVJs are the shiznit.
