WOW is all I can say about the top on this bass! I was stunned when I saw pics and she took my breath when I opened the case. Check out the pics here!

I could never take pics better than these...I got her just a couple of weeks ago on an impulse buy and I have now remembered the main reasons why I sold my last 55-02...the 35" scale and the string spacing. Both are fine as long as you are used to them but I have become REALLY used to the string spacing and the 34" of my Musicmans...

I have babied her since I got her and I purchased a really nice Acces hard case (Recommended to me by the guys at Martin Music) at the time of sale that she will ship in. I paid right at $1500 with the case and shipping on 2/8/10. She weighs "just under" 9 lbs according to the guys at Martin but I will call it 9 to be safe. DEFINITELY lighter than my SR5 which weighs exactly 9.5 lbs.

The playability is perfect and the tone is ....well you KNOW the tone! IT IS FABULOUS! Everything is perfect about her. I should mention this one is one of the older Made in Korea (My preference) but is a BRAND NEW BASS. It was sitting there at Martin all this time in her case waiting for me. They moved a while back and somehow this one did not get put out on the floor. The neck is awesome and the grain of the rosewood is perfect. The only reason I don't keep her is truly the spacing and the scale length. I recorded 3 tracks with her on Thursday night and they sounded KILLER.

I will ship her Insured for $1500 to the lower 48 for $1150. I Prefer US Postal Money Order but will accept PayPal as long you PM me first and we can work out the details. I will also consider international shipping but BUYER MUST PAY ALL FEES...

She has NO issues at all and has only minimal swirling that I can not get to show up on a camera since I have only had her for a few weeks.

Just got in from a gig. Used this bass and my SR5 and realized how good of a slap tone this one has! KILLER slap and very good "P bass" type tone as well as the Jazz. The Ray is close but just not the same...SWEET setup on this one!

PM Returned...The case is a Hard Access Case NOT a bag...It is a very nice case. I asked them about the smaller Black Lakland case and they recommended this one.
