FS only Peavey B Quad

Sign in to disble this ad
Here ya go, the rare B Quad! I have debated on selling this one for a while now. It is time to let it go, I never play it, the bass belongs in the hands of someone that wil play it and enjoy it.

Graphite neck, active system with Piezo pickups and OHSC.
The bass is in very nice condition, I really do not want to part with it but I really need to clear out the stuff that isn't being played. If someo fo my other stuff selld before this I will keep this bass.

This bass is very versatile, it can nail just about any sound you could want or need.

Please PM any questions, I do not check the posts on a regular basis.

$950.00 plus shipping (was $1040), pay pal accepted. I prefer to not ship overseas.

Thought it was my old one when I first saw it but the s/n didn't match

These are, without a doubt, some of the baddest basses out there....period! I am still kicking myself for parting with mine, although I did trade it for an Ex-Factor.

As soon as the ex-wife is paid off, I will be buying a B-Quad!

They handle BEAD tuning fantastic.

If I remember correctly OP said this is all original. The junk you find on Ebay has some dork deciding to "upgrade it" Commonly someone will manhandle the bridge an cause errors of stupidity.

IF someone liked the attributes of a graphite and wanted warmth, this is your option (without spending $4k+)

They have a very cool, long sustain... Can dial in some almost DX-7 type sounds.. action can be dialed in under 1mm

Still Around.

Dr Funk.. they weren't well marketed.. they were high priced for the day.. and way ahead of their learning curve.

You can NOT go wrong with one of these! I have a natural flamed maple B-Quad 4, and it has been the only fretted bass I've owned since I bought it new in the mid 90's. What does that tell you?!

If I had the coin, I'd buy today, even if I would really prefer a B Quad Five.

Price Drop

This is a smokin' bass. The main reason for selling is I have been out of work due to a car accident and have a neck injury...of course nothing happened to schmuck that caused the accident.

...now I have mounting medical bills etc, etc...

With that said, the price is dropped to $950.00 O.B.O

I have a fiver and can tell you this is an incredible instrument. Wonderful neck and so many tone variations. Great price for the listed condition.

I think you need a 4 stringer to go along with your fiver!

Pretty good price. One of the fastest necks I've ever played on. Sick bass all around. This is a steal. Good luck.

Growing up I hated Peavey and anything associated with Peavey, where I live all the bands from Mexico played Peavey (or as they pronounced it Peefey).

As I got older I realized they make/made some killer stuff. One of my favorite basses is my Rudy Sarzo bass with Barts. That is an incredible sounding bass. This B-Quad is a phenomenal instrument as well.

Someone needs to jump on it ASAP, before I come to my senses.
