FS Only: Peavey G V Bass

SOLD SOLD SOLD

I'm not really wanting to get into the details, but let's say that a few days ago I was planning to completely refinish this bass. Over the past two days, life has changed. I'm needing to sell. I just got this bass from a trade with cliff78. It was mlwarriner's at one time. You may have seen pics of this bass in the past. These are my specific pics.

Blue Peavey G V bass. The neck is in great condition---only dings are on the headstock tip. The back of the neck is ding free. There some dings on the back and one key ding on the front below the front pup (forward from the top knob closest to the front pup). There is also a superficial crack next to the front pup. I've tried to detail the issues in the pics as best as possible.

Comes with a generic hardshell case that is in very good condition. It is not a Peavey case.

I'd like to get $550 shipped as it will cost about $50 shipping. FedEX ground. I ship from a FedEX warehouse/Distribution Center here in KC.

I cannot access Photobucket at work, so these are from Flickr.

Had a glimmer of good news, I might be up for a trade. Prefer sunburst or natural finish basses, rosewood fingerboards. I'm open to 4-strings as well.

I would love to own this bass, however, the ugly blue finish kinda puts me off. If I bought it, I would certainly refinish it; do you know what wood (material) is underneath?

The wood is alder (according to another TBers and my research). Currently, the black Dunlop straplocks are off of it, but will be put back on. I just didn't have them on when I took the pics.
