I got this from Ray last April.
this is incredible bass.
this is single cut, but bolt on.
here is specs :

chestnut top full
ash body/ mahogany center line
maple/rosewood 5 piece neck
maccassar ebony FB./ pearl dot inlay's
norstrand big single hum canceling with chestnut wood covers
chestnut ramp
chestnut knobs
ken smith pre amp
hip shot bridge and tuners a style
urethane satin finish .


$2,300(includes gig bag and shipping)

if anybody is near to Boston,
you can come and test it.

ADDITION : I would like to Trade w/ Alleva-coppolo LG5, 70's old Jazz fender.

Neat as that app is, it's hard to tell exactly from the pic. It looks like 17-17.5mm in the pic, but I'm not sure.

Scale length?

I am from Boston - What is the scale of the bass...? I'm a little interested but I'm concerned about the fact that it's a bolt on, just kinda strange for a single cut to be a bolt on and I wonder about the Smith pre, does it sound like a Smith...? I'm not a big fan of the Smith sound actually... I have a Stambaugh single cut that I purchased from another TB'er and it's very Fodera sounding.

Yeah, I myself am interested in what the bass sounds like with the Ken Smith preamp.

Well, I live in Atlanta Georgia. Can you give us a general description of what this bass sounds like with the Ken Smith preamp?
