I bought this to back up my USA J bass (that i'm currently selling) I've only played the bass a couple of times at home and once at band practice. The bass is much thicker sounding than my USA Jazz because it's got humbucking jazz pickups in it. The bass also has a push/pull tone pot so you can get the true single coil sound if that's what you're after.
Fit and finish are excellent. Way better than any MIM Jazz bass and about as good as my USA Jazz at a fraction of the cost.
