Hey everyone, I'm unfortunately looking to part ways with my Schecter Riot 4-String that I purchased in December of 2009, but has only seen use up until December of 2010 (when I got a hold of a Rickenbacker). The bass is in great condition, can't find any significant dings on it. Had a buyer at that time, but he backed out at the last second..Haven't gotten around to trying to sell it again until now.
In early 2010, I decided to have the pickups upgraded (by professionals if you're concerned - gGuitars in New Haven, CT) to a pair of active EMG TWs. The TWs feature two P/P volume pots that switch each pickup between a single-coil 'J' mode and a dual-coil Humbucker mode (
35TW | Electric Guitar Pickups & Accessories - EMG Pickups for more detail) giving an awesome range of tones..The difference between these and the stock EMGs was HUGE. In doing my research about these pickups, I'd heard that people were concerned about a significant volume drop-off when switching to single-coil 'J' mode. To set the record straight - I have not noticed ANY volume difference whatsoever between the two modes. The depth of the low-end definitely changes, but that's an intended change in tone.
I don't know what the heck Schecter did with the Riot series in 2010 (it looks like they tried to make a cheaper version), but this edition is the best Schecter bass I've ever played. I also own a Schecter Stiletto Elite, and I like the Riot significantly more...Only reason I'm choosing to sell the Riot is because it's worth much more! (Had to be honest)
I'll also include a Road Runner gig bag for free, shown at the bottom of these pics: (if you want to see something specific, just ask!)

The bridge looks like it's losing its shine..It came this way and as far as I can tell, hasn't gotten any worse.
I'm asking for $750 shipped CONUS. I'd argue this thing is worth more than I originally bought it for with the pickup upgrade, but I won't be that ridiculous!

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.
