FS Only: Shell Pink LEJ (Low End Jazz) 5er

I ended up jumping on a Skjold Bass that I was after, so This bass now needs to be sold (or traded...need to get at least $1200 in the deal though). My asking price is:

$2200 Shipped OBO

As far as specs go, it's a 24 fret LEJ classic, Shell Pink Finish, BirdsEye Maple Board, Maple neck, Mahogany body, has the Low End Slimbuckers & Standard LEJ preamp with Volume, Volume, Tone (pull for passive with passive tone), Stacked Bass & Treble. I think It weighs around 9.5 lbs, but I can try to get a more accurate weight if anyone wants it. 34" scale, 19mm spacing. Awesome bass, but I'm having a new LEJ build that will be able to cover most everything this one does.

This bass is in great condition (owned by country artist Joe Nichols' bassist before me). There are some minor dings here and there but nothing major. I can take me pics if anyone needs them. I would also prefer to keep the pup cover as I'm going to use it on my new LEJ, but if that is a deal breaker I can include it (if you don't specify that you want it you will not get it). Comes with a Nordy Hard/Soft case (at least its the case that my old Nordy came in...not sure of the brand, but its nice).

I should add that this has the best B string I've ever played, and if you look in my profile you'll see I have played lots of nice basses

If the brand of this bass started with an "S" it would cost twice as much, sound would pale in comparison, and it would be a cheaper built parts bass. Compared to the Low End quality IMO

I know... I've played Low End Js before, and they are some of THE coolest boutique jazzes out there. So much more modern than anything else out there and extremely useable in every aspect.

Trust me, the only reason I'm selling this is because my new LEPJ being built will cover most everything this one can do. This bass is awesome.

Oh and I assume the "S" brand you're talking about isn't Skjold!

4 army bass players (myself included) and 1 air force player use them that I know. Well built, great price, awesome sound and playability, and customer service that rivals Genz Benz.

now open to trades (cabs might be nice...perhaps a Berg AE212, a pair of Aguilar DB112s, Epifani UL stuff, etc...), but I need to make at least $1200 in the swap.
