Spector USA Bolt-on NS-4H2-EX. Made on 11/21/06 in Woodstock, NY.

Buckeye Burl Top with Mahogany Body with Natural Matte Poly finish. ($600 additional upcharge)

Graphite Reinforced 3pc Bolt-On Rock Maple Neck, 24 Fret Pau Ferro Fingerboard, mother of pearl Spector inlays.

Black Hardware, including custom aluminum Hipshot bridge with brass saddles and Hipshot UltraLite tuners and Hipshot Xtender Detuner ($120 additional). Dunlop Dual Design strap buttons.

Aguilar OBP-3 3 band active tone controls, with EMG 35DC pickups. Wired as (Vol/Blend/Mid/Stacked Bass & Treble). The mid control is active/passive (push-pull).

This bass is perfectly balanced, excellent tone and weighs in at just over 7lbs. No wear on the frets, action is low with no buzz. Neck is straight as an arrow. Bass and Spector hardshell case are both in excellent condition.

Thanks...it is an awesome sounding bass. I just never play it.

Also, did not mention in the description that this bass was a custom that Spector produced for the '06 NAMM show. From what PJ told me it is one of the first of what is now the NS-4H2 model. You can see on the headstock photo that this one is still marked as a NS-2J. The heel of the neck is also marked as NAMM.

great bass, great price. it amazes me that a handmade boutique bass from one of the best producers in bassdom would go for this low of a price.

No disrespect intended, but Sadowsky's import models go for more than this on the used market.
